Lisa Van Gemert, M.Ed., is currently serving as the Mensa Foundation Gifted Children’s Specialist. She holds degrees in English and political science summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she later earned her master’s in education. She is a certified educator in secondary English, social studies, and K-12 gifted and talented and works as a gifted and talented education consultant to districts around Texas, training more than 1,500 teachers.
