Kristy Peloquin is a public service professional and writer who earned an MFA in poetry and creative writing from Texas State University. She served as the first staff member for the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission and later taught as an assistant professor of English; she currently is an adjunct at Huston-Tillotson University and works in development for the Texas Historical Commission. She has published a book of poetry and is working on a second book and a memoir.
