We can become so overwhelmed with current challenges of raising gifted or twice-exceptional children that we lose perspective. We fear they’ll never fit in, be unable to manage away from home, never be able to earn a living. But so many do manage to do these things. Despite rough times they may have as kids, most will eventually find their passions. Around those passions, they’ll find acceptance and rewards. While they may not keep to the schedule and travel the path that most others do, be confident that they’ll arrive at their destination nevertheless —the destination that’s right for them.
